Thanks to MORGAN STAR chef !! wow wow I live here 2 yrs never came here ! It was wowGreat!!!!! Short hand but Bert and Ingrid try hard work attentively first service . Pasta are homemade extremely good ! Never knew this place exists in Kona town. Happy hour serve from 12 pm 7 days a week . Appetizers, salad main course everything was great . I only wish desert tiramisu be better if it's less sugar and price down be nice of price little less for desert . But definitely 5 star restaurant over all. I would come back eat pasta here often !!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Look, I dont wanna sounds dramatic or anything but if I had to choose having a meal here again or watching the birth of my first born son, .. well, lets just say ... At least I'll be getting yelled at with a full stomach. Mi's bistro was truly a savior to me in Hawaii. Tbh, I wasn't a fan of the local foods. Mi's Waterfront Bistro and Acai Bowls around the area saved the day!!! Acai Bowl for breakfast, Mi's for lunch AND DINNER!! This place is located right by the water how romantic!! There are three things I wanna talk about here: 1: The food: I live in Los Angeles so trust me when I say I have had very good Italian food. Mi's truly blew a lotta places out of the water. Their bolognese pasta was the best I have ever had. EVER. 2. The view: The view is truly amazing. There is indoor seating as well as outdoor seating. If you choose outdoor seating, you get the opportunity to seat right beside the ocean. It is truly a magnificent experience. 3. The customer service: these people have service down to a Tee!!!

This place had great reviews and I was slightly disappointed when the Uber pulled up to the place because it didn't SEEM like a place that made daily fresh pasta. I'm glad it didn't bother me enough to not eat there. The food was delicious. The calamari, spinach and cheese wontons, spicy fettuccini, crab manicotti, and the chicken parm - all delicious. My personal favorite was the spicy fettuccini. Not like a dish you can get everywhere else. We had the Meyer lemon creme brûlée and the tiramisu. Honestly I think the tiramisu was good but not as good as the creme brûlée. Service was great - especially being Christmas Eve. Everyone working was still smiling and genuinely kind.

PERFECT dinner date. We got seated outside next to the railing overlooking the water. Beautiful evening, clear skies, waves gently crashing on the rocks below. Atmosphere has got to be 5-stars!!! Murti was our waiter. He was very friendly and attentive. Watching the staff there, they worked really well together but I'm glad we had Murti serving us. He's the best. We were not very hungry so we ordered two appetizers and one entree. Crab & artichoke dip came out first. Generous portion and delicious. Next was the calamari. Another generous portion and prepared nicely. I asked for another dipping sauce but that's because I love sauces and I know I use more than the average person. We were thinking of getting three apps and one entree, but good thing we just got the two. Our entree was the rigatoni with Hamakua mushrooms. I feel it should've had a few more mushrooms. But aside from that, it was sooooo good. Pasta was cooked el dente and the sauce had great tomato flavor without it being too "tomato-ey" (does that make sense?). We also had two glasses of wine along with a house drink called the Sea Cup cocktail. All three went very well with our meal. If you're in the area and wanna get a nice Italian dinner, this is the place to go. You will not be disappointed. Ask for Murti too.

Wasn't expecting to grab Italian food in Hawaii, but it was pretty good. Pro Tip: They validate parking if you park in the underground garage for the shopping plaza. The cocktails were good and they had a nice variety instead of the usual Mai Tai and tropical drinks. The Rosemary Lemonade and Sea Cup went down easy and had great taste. Their lasagna features local beef, onions, mushrooms, bell peppers and black olives. It's loaded with mozzarella, ricotta, parmesan reggiano and tomato sauce. It's a good sized portion that is just right. Since they're located upstairs, if you sit outside you can get a great ocean view as well!

Came to Mi's Bistro after consulting Yelp for a place for dinner. Mi's is upstairs and has lanai seating over an ocean front property. I'd recommend reservations as the restaurant isn't too big and they seem to be popular. Some focaccia bread and butter came to the table complimentary. This was delicious! I really wanted to ask for more but didn't want to ruin my appetite for my entree. Started with a cup of their kabocha, ulu and corn chowder ($6). Perhaps it was supposed to be that way but it was really bland. Even with some salt and pepper, that didn't do too much to it. Porcini crusted pork ($28) with gnocchi and long beans in a creamy mushroom sauce. The pork was super tender and very flavorful. Long beans still had a nice crunch to them. The creamy mushroom sauce had me wanting more and more after each bite. This is a very filling entree so be sure to have an appetite. I was too full for dessert. My server Holly was absolutely terrific. She was very accommodating when I was being indecisive when selecting what to eat for dinner. She answered my questions happily, checked in with me a few times and gave me time to review the menu as I compared picture on Yelp initially, then returned and asked questions to help determine what I should get. I forgot my umbrella at my table and she ran outside after me to return it. There is a basement garage for parking. You pay at the machine next to the elevator. Remember your plate number and place the stub on your dashboard.

After we shop around we were getting very hungry then decided to see the nearest restaurant near by was the Mi's waterfront Bistro. We went up to the second floor were the restaurant is at but it have great ocean view it was nice. We got seated and waitress hand out the menu. First we order drink it was happy hour and decided to Mai Tai and Margarita and we at the menu what to order. My wife got the chicken Parmigiana sandwich with garlic fries and got the Mi's lasagna. When food it look so good I took a bite of my lasagna it was delicious I really enjoy it and my wife enjoy her parmigiana sandwich. The view of the ocean is amazing and beautiful.
